Llanarthne has a rich and varied history. Paxton's Tower overlooks the village and the river Gwynon runs into the Towy at the village's edge. The Botanical Garden of Wales and the historic Middleton Hall is also within a mile of the village. Dryslwyn Castle with its stunning view also lies close to the village.
The Hall was built in 2008. It has a 150 capacity main hall, 25 capacity meeting room and an additional meeting room/office upstairs. The Gallery can accommodate a further 25 people. Kitchen facilities are excellent and fully equipped.
