Llannewydd Newchurch Community Hall, Llannewydd

The Hall

Newchurch Community Hall was originally the local primary school built in 1860. Due to a new school opening in Abernat the school eventually closed in the 1960's, and became a community centre for many years thanks to assistance from the local church. In 2005, 145 years after its original construction, a local Community association was set up to manage the refurbishment of the hall, which was completed in 2009.
